The Orbitec open-frame weld heads from the OSW series have a unique robust and reliable design. By the application of the feed unit at a right angle, no significant costs are incurred due to wear-out of the gears. Open-frame OSW weld heads are optionally supplied with angular gears for confined spaces or special applications.

The heads also provide optimal operator comfort and easy handling due to their construction size.
A reliable stepless quick-clamping system is crucial for open-frame weld heads in order to obtain high-grade replicable weld seams.

All open-frame heads have a flexible design for the gas or water cooled torch and tube assembly application in accordance with the requirements.
